Mindfulness reveals our capacity for becoming aware of what is happening in our lives. Through an intentional and skillful practice of mindfulness, we can develop insight into how stress and suffering manifest in our lives. All spiritual practices, however, can become rigid, and mechanical. It is to the arts that we will delve to feel the pulse of passion that drives our longing for fulfillment in relationships, work, and with ourselves. We will explore movement, sound, paint, poetry and other mediums to propel us on our journey home.
